TRM Needs You!
27th May
Three Rivers Market needs hard working, energetic, and committed members willing serve the cooperative on the Board of Directors. Every year new Board members are elected to renew the link between what we do and the broader needs and interest of the community we serve. Directors are elected by members such as yourself for three-year terms. The Board provides strategic leadership, financial accountability, and stewards resources for the long-term end goals (called Ends) of the cooperative. With this in mind we invite you to consider running for the Board election.
As a member of Three Rivers Market you already appreciate the cooperative’s positive impact in our community. Through your service as a Board Director you will further contribute by making decisions on the long-term strategic direction of the Cooperative. We encourage you to take a step towards Board involvement. The first thing … Read More »

We met up in the TRM parking lot at 7am on Saturday morning. Knoxville was just recovering from a flurry of snow the prior evening and none of us had cars with snow tires or four-wheel drive, so we were a little bit anxious about driving. Fortunately, the road conditions … Read More »
Reflection of a New Board Member
9th November
I’m coming up on a year as a Board Member of Three Rivers Market and several things have been reconfirmed during this time: 1. Knoxville is a great community, 2. Three Rivers is a great community resource, and 3. You get out of any organization what you put in.
Over the past year, it feels as if a week scarcely goes by without someone posting an article or link about Knoxville’s attractions or rankings in a national poll. I don’t think most people are surprised. It just reflects the pride many people have felt over the years for our community. As Central Avenue & North Knoxville/Happy Holler transform before our eyes, we can see how this pocket of Knoxville will soon be on everyone’s radar. Several years ago, Three Rivers Market made a thoughtful business and community decision to be an … Read More »
