The Bicycle Program strives to integrate bicycling into the transportation system. The program works with the citizens and governments within Knox, Blount, Anderson, Roane, Sevier, and Loudon counties to implement the 2009 Regional Bicycle Plan. The program is housed within the Knoxville Regional Transportation Planning Organization and staffed by a Bicycle Coordinator.

Knoxville Walking Tours provides walking history and entertainment tours of Knoxville’s downtown historic district. All tours take about 90 minutes and are 1-2 miles long. Popular tours include our Early Years, Civil War, and African-American history tours.Our Gunslinger Tour and Shadow Side Ghost Walk are favorite entertainment tours. Three Rivers Market members receive a 10% discount on tickets!

Narrow Ridge Earth Literacy Center offers a variety of sustainable living, natural immersion, and other Earth literacy experiences and community events. Narrow Ridge protects over 500 acres and has been “off the grid” since 1991. Components include eco-lodging, resource library, a natural burial preserve, and three community land trusts.
