Three Rivers Market needs hard working, energetic, and committed members willing serve the cooperative on the Board of Directors. Every year new Board members are elected to renew the link between what we do and the broader needs and interest of the community we serve. Directors are elected by members such as yourself for three-year terms. The Board provides strategic leadership, financial accountability, and stewards resources for the long-term end goals (called Ends) of the cooperative. With this in mind we invite you to consider running for the Board election.
As a member of Three Rivers Market you already appreciate the cooperative’s positive impact in our community. Another Nourishing Change Record
5th August
For the month of July you raised $5,634.24 for Ladies of Charity Summer Lunch Program, our Nourishing Change recipient! This was yet a new high for our Nourishing Change program! Ladies of Charity used this money to bring lunches to children who would otherwise not have lunch when school is out. Ladies of Charity expected to feed 3,000 children this summer and your donations were a significant part of accomplishing that goal. You have now raised more than $100,000 for Nourishing Change since this program began in April 2012. Thank you co-op shoppers for not only maintaining your generosity but continuing to grow it every month!

Throughout the year, at least two Directors will be available in the store to hear our member/owner interests and concerns, and answer questions on Cooperative governance.

Halfway through the month for Nourishing Change

We are only halfway through the month and co-op shoppers you have already rounded up $2,658 for Go North Animal Transport Collaborative! Thank you so much for this incredible generosity! Please continue to round up for the month of May for our Nourishing Change recipient which moves dogs from overcrowded shelters here in East TN and transports them to under-capacity shelters in Minnesota, Ohio, New York, New Jersey, and Maine.
