We would like to highlight what is needed to run for the Board, provide an update on the Board’s TRM Talks, and share a Save the Date for the Annual Meeting.

Are you thinking of running for the Board?

The Board is looking for dedicated member-owners interested in taking their TRM support to the next level. If you’re up for the challenge, reach out to the Board Perpetuation Committee via email at board@threeriversmarket.coop, chat with Board members during the TRM Talks, or ask a question in the candidate forum of the next Board meeting on September 11th (find more information and register to attend here). Candidates are required to attend a Board meeting in July, August, or September, so you have ONE opportunity left! More information and resources for the 2025 election are on the Election page and applications are due October 1.

TRM Talks in Review

Come talk to us!  The Three Rivers Market Board is hosting a series of “TRM Talks” at the store, to hear your ideas about store governance, answer your questions, and help you get involved in our co-op’s future.  We’ve hosted five sessions through July and August, and we’re looking forward to three more in September:

• Sunday, September 7, 2-3pm
• Tuesday, September 16, 10-11am
• Monday, September 29, 6-7pm

Come share a meal and some good conversation in the store’s dining area.  We’ve been so grateful to hear from members over the past two months – thank you to everyone who’s taken the time to stop by and chat.  If you can’t make it in person, we’re always happy to get your feedback via email, and we’ll make sure to respond when the Board has a chance to consider your ideas.

Save the Date: Annual Meeting is Thursday, Dec. 4

Please mark your calendars for the Three Rivers Market Annual Meeting, which is scheduled for the evening of Thursday, December 4.  The Board will present the annual report and other updates about the co-op, and there will be food and an opportunity to get to know folks better and share ideas. More details will follow in future editions. We hope to see you all there.
