This month the Board would like to update members about two upcoming events our Owner Engagement Committee has been planning: behind-the-scenes store tours, and our fourth annual member picnic. We hope you will make plans to join us!
Store Tours for Members
Great news, members! There will be limited opportunities for a guided tour of the Three Rivers Market building. The first one is scheduled for Wednesday, April 30, from 6 to 7 p.m. The first 10 people to sign up at info@threeriversmarket.coop will be put on the list. Folks joining the tour will need to sign a waiver as you will be in employee only spaces that can be confining, small, and with equipment meant for staff.
There will be other opportunities to tour the store at later dates, and we are working to video one of them so that folks who cannot make it to the tour can watch it virtually.
Thanks go to the members for suggesting this and for the staff for opening the back doors into their workspace. We look forward to more folks seeing the inner workings of Three Rivers Market!
Fourth Annual Member Picnic
Over the next month, the Owner Engagement Committee will be solidifying our plans for the Fourth Annual Member Picnic this summer, and will be sure to let members know the details.
Our Owner Engagement committee has been meeting regularly and we are coming up with some wonderful ideas. If you would like to be involved with this committee, please email board@threeriversmarket.coop.
Upcoming Board of Directors Meeting
If you would like to attend the May Board of Director’s Meeting, it will be on Thursday, May 8, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM at St James Episcopal Church, 1101 N Broadway. You can register here until Wednesday, May 7, at 3 PM.
