We are pleased to announce the appointment of Randall Reagan to Seat 2 of the 2020 Board of Directors; this seat has been vacant since our uncontested election in 2019.  As an engaged co-owner for more than 20 years, he brings a demonstrated commitment to the success of Three Rivers Market. Three Rivers Market is seeking qualified candidates to run in the 2019 Board of Directors Election. Serving on the Board is an opportunity to help us create and nourish a healthier environment, healthier people, and a healthier community for our nearly 10,000 co-owners!

Three of the nine seats on the Board are up for election. Each seat has a three-year term.

Governing an organization effectively is a serious commitment. Directors are expected to prepare for and actively participate in monthly Board Meetings, one full-day cooperative board leadership training in North Carolina, and two full-day retreats closer to home. Our Board meetings are efficient in that we stick to the agenda and finish on time. Board leadership training expenses including lodging are covered.

Announcing how we will be Nourishing Change in our community for the next 6 months!

In July, we will be collecting change to give food to the hungry
• Objective: To raise $7,000 to provide free meals to people in need.
• Partner: The Love Kitchen
The Love Kitchen provides meals, clothing and emergency food packages to homebound, homeless and unemployed people of all races and faiths. Their goal is to provide nourishment for anyone who is hungry and to establish a community center to serve as a haven supporting area children and their families.

In August, we will be collecting change to improve the health of children and their families
