MARCH’S
NOURISHING CHANGE

In March we will be collecting change to help support Two Bikes.

Two Bikes is working towards a healthier, more sustainable community by refurbishing used bikes and returning them back to the roads. This avoids landfill waste and encourages the use of bikes as alternative transportation.

Objective: To raise $7,000 to put towards The Bike School, Two Bike’s industry-leading year-round youth workforce development program dedicated to teaching underserved youth how to work on bikes and build great customer service skills. High School students are paid for a 120 hour internship. The Bike School served 40+ students in 2023.

The Board of Directors is pleased to convene five committees this year, with participation of both Directors and members of the cooperative.

We appreciate the willingness of members to contribute their knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm for Three Rivers Market to our committees’ work.

We would like to share the mission and purpose of each committee with members:

The Agenda for the regular monthly meetings is posted at least one week before each meeting on the
co-op’s website.To request that an item be considered for the Board’s agenda, members can either email the request to
board@threeriversmarket.coop or leave a note for the Chair at the Member & Customer Services Desk at the store. Requests must be dated and include name, member number, phone number, email address, or other reliable contact information needed for follow-up.The deadline for submitting items to the Chair for consideration is four weeks prior to the scheduled meeting.
