Hanna’s Inc (TN Bean)

“Here at Hanna’s Inc (TN Bean), we strive to make each sip wonderful. We use fresh ingredients and make each item with love. All of our teas and lemonades are made fresh each time and with locally sourced herbs and spices. We work with several farms and farmers markets to source our ingredients. We strive to make sure that all our products are full of flavor, fun, and beauty.

We went from just event planning and catering to baking and roasting our own coffee. Now, we sell a line of our teas, lemonades, and cold brew,  All the while maintaining our integrity and clientele. We look for opportunities to help others, even during Covid-19. Hanna’s Inc has been featured on both WBIR Channel 10 News and WATE Channel 6 /ABC News. We have teamed up with a fitness company to cook and show how to prepare some fun, heart healthy meals. We have done several events for Business Network International, Anderson County Chamber of Commerce, Children’s Defense, Knox County Chamber of Commerce, City of Oak Ridge, etc.

We are constantly striving to do better and have fresh ideas to make the best impact on those we get to serve.

Ancestral Evolution

The Wellness department is excited to introduce a new local company to our shelves!

Ancestral Evolution crafts skin care products from their homestead in East Tennessee using tallow, coconut oil, pure essential oils and other natural ingredients.

Ancestral Evolution sources their beef fat from local farms and renders it into tallow themselves.  Tallow soap making has a long tradition in the American homestead and through much hard work and experimentation, Ancestral Evolution has perfected a recipe for tallow soap.

Three Rivers Market now offers three varieties of their bar soap, several options of tallow magnesium deodorant as well as a bug spray.  Please join us in supporting this local company!

Several employees and Board members represented Three Rivers Market at SoKno Pride on June 21st. We enjoyed sharing a selection of food and drinks from the store and some other fun items with visitors to our booth, and had many great conversations about the only food co-op in Tennessee, where everyone is welcome!

JULY’S
NOURISHING CHANGE

In July we will be collecting change to help support the Shora Foundation, which provides youth development services in East Knoxville.

The Shora Foundation’s mission is to provide a safe place for those in under-resourced areas by creating opportunities and transforming communities.

Their focus on academic achievement, food sustainability, mental health, and economic equity demonstrates our holistic approach to community transformation. By addressing these interconnected areas, we are working towards creating lasting change that uplifts individuals and revitalizes entire communities.

Objective:

To raise $7,000 to be used for meals and educational enrichment opportunities and to support Shora foundation’s food-sustainability work in East Knoxville’s food-desert corridor.

Every day the Shora Foundation provides healthy snacks and meals to their scholars and stocks an on-site pantry where scholars’ families can pick up fresh groceries, staple items, and essential toiletries.

This month we would like to share with members an introduction to two newly appointed Board Directors, an invitation to attend an upcoming monthly meeting to be eligible to run for the Board, and a recap of Three Rivers Market’s participation at Holleroo.
