Fresh Savings at Three Rivers Market

Three Rivers Market thanks our Members, the AARP Foundation, and the USDA for supporting access to healthy food through the Fresh Savings Program.

Since July 2017 Three Rivers Market has distributed $120,800 worth of fresh fruits and vegetables to over 300 new customers who depend on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). And in that time we have redeemed $98,382 for local and organic produce at the co-op!

With our funding depleted for 2018, the Fresh Savings program concluded at Three Rivers Market on Thursday, May 24th, 2018. SNAP shoppers can still participate in the program at the Market Square Farmers Market and New Harvest Park Farmers Market in 2018.

Three Rivers Market works to nourish a healthier environment, people and community; and we hope to secure funding to reactivate this type of program again.
